Even now, new systems frequently operate with:

• Overly aggressive flow temperatures, poorly commissioned

• Over engineered design, pumps everywhere, reduces efficiency

• Poorly tuned weather compensation, key to efficiency, need to be managed

• Control conflicts between thermostats and heat pump logic, microzoning controls

• Hydraulic layouts that restrict efficiency, poor ly designed form the start

Using real operating data and engineering-led diagnostics, we refine system behaviour to:

• Reduce flow temperature without sacrificing comfort

• Improve delta-T and operational stability

• Minimise cycling and inefficiencies

• Lower electrical consumption

• Deliver consistent, predictable indoor comfort

I don’t replace systems unnecessarily.
I optimise them to the best of my experience and the heating ingredients given

Why Heat Pumps Underperform

Most underperforming systems were installed with:

• Higher flow temperatures than needed.

• Generic/factory control settings

• Oversized buffers or poor hydraulics

• Little or no performance verification after handover

• Poor hand over, no integration with smart tariffs etc

The system still heats the house — but it does so inefficiently and expensively.

We identify where the real limitation is:

• Emitters, may need a full heat loss calculation

• Pipework and flow rates

• Control strategy and weather compensation

• Zoning and cycling behaviour

• User settings vs system logic
